World Skate 2019

From 4 to 14 July 2019 Barcelona will experience the world’s largest event comprising all the world championship roller sports disciplines as regulated by the World Skate international federation. During eleven days of intensive competition, the World Roller Games will see more than 4,000 athletes in action and will crown the world’s best in eleven very diverse disciplines such as Alpine, Artistic, Roller Freestyle, Downhill (incl. skateboarding and luge), Inline Freestyle, Inline Hockey, Rink Hockey, Roller Derby, Scooter, Speed and Skateboarding.

We will be using this new page to share with you updates from World Skate pertaining to skateboarding events in this year’s competitions. This includes Street League Skateboarding and the downhill skateboarding and luge categories.

Our own Robbie Stevens will be in Barcelona in July to cover the downhill and luge events. In the meantime, Kev Hurdle and Linden Nieto will be at the SLS comp in London in May. We will be sending, whenever we can, reporters, photographers and videographers to events in London leading up and including the major comps and events.
