Push for Peace – Update

Knowing these guys were making amazing progress on their Edinburgh to Eastbourne Push for Peace charity ride for SkatePal, we asked for an update …

“All is well thanks. We have done 450 miles and reckon we have 150 left. We having been chipping away 30 miles a day for just over two weeks and have made it to Stanstead airport 🙂

We met a friend here last night who is joining us for the weekend so currently camped in a woods at the end of the runway with a nice little camp fire, Hammock and all. We are starting to master the art of a nice camp typically as the trip heads into the final stretch.

The first 10 days were hard with solid rain and, with semi-waterproof tents, it took its toll on us. Different aches and pains took over from old

ones throughout the days but the support we had along the way was awesome. So many people stopped and donated in the most random of places, cheered us on at bus stops, welcomed us into their homes for cups of tea, bought us dinner -the list goes on…

We have been super lucky to see parts of Scotland and England we most likely would never have seen and can’t wait to go back to some places and spend some actual time there.

All in all, it has been an awesome adventure we will not be forgetting in a hurry and it’s not over yet!

Will send you some more pics as we get closer to home.”

Here’s a slideshow of images so far … check them out on Facebook and Instagram (links below) and don’t forget to donate, if you can.
