Santa Cruise 2015 Event info - Longboarding for Little Hearts

Event information! Christmas is fast approaching and for Longboarding for Little Hearts this means...THE SANTA CRUISE 2015 - Sponsored by Mindless Longboards.

 

Date: Saturday 12th December

Meeting time: 9:30am 

Setting off PROMPTLY @ 10:00am 

Meeting place: Hammersmith Apollo.

Distance and duration: 20 miles approx 5 hours.

Destination: The top of Castle Hill Windsor Castle. We will be met by supporters for a celebration at a local pub where food and refreshments can be ordered and a raffle will be held. 

Late starters meeting point: The Honda roundabout (A4 Colnbrook) at 2pm APPROX.

The aim is to get into Windsor at 3:00pm before it gets dark!

Back again for the 4th year running by popular demand its time to get Dressed up as Santa and all things festive as we skate 20 miles From Hammersmith Apollo to Windsor castle filling the streets with festive cheer for a fantastic cause.

Please Help to raise money and awareness for congenital heart defects, helping the Children's heart federation this Christmas to supply children with the equipment they may need to be at home rather than in hospital. So please help by making this another enjoyable day and ultimately a great success for the charity!

Suggested donation: £5 or more made payable directly to the charity via the Just Giving page.

Sponsorship: This is a fundraising event and we encourage as many people as possible to collect sponsor money from friends and family.

The Santa Cruise is not a race or competition to see who gets there first, the general idea of the Santa Cruise is to leave together, skate together & arrive safely together!

AGE RESTRICTION: Due to the nature of this event having to skate on roads and using some paths. Unfortunately we will not be accepting any applicants under the age of 16 years old.

This a NON PROFITABLE event for the organisers of Longboarding for Little HeartsALL monies raised will be donated to the Children's Heart Federation, to help sick children with serious heart conditions.
