What inspires and frustrates you the most about Skateboarding?

Nothing inspires me in the skate industry anymore which frustrates me. But amazing scenery, beautiful hills, large pack runs and a touch of danger will always inspire me. I've been lurking in the shadows a bit recently, but I still lust for gnar.

What is new for 2016, what are your resolutions, standing philosophies or goals for this year?

I'm going to level up my videography this year. Expect more backstory and colour-correction. If you want to see it, you'll have to hunt for it. I’m also going to try and be wiser, do more for others and do more non-skating activities too.

What recently has been an important thing you’ve learnt (not just skate wise)?

I've learned to take life a bit slower.. Kind of. After a serious accident recently, four days in hospital and having to poo into a bed pan on my birthday, I’ve been on a hiatus from my board.

If there was one thing you could change about the world what would it be?

I’d ban social media because it facilitates people whoring themselves out for companies who give them basically nothing in return. But I would keep cat videos. In other news I would change working contracts so we could have more time to play and go on adventures.

How do you fund your travel and skate?

After years of trying to make it in the skateboarding industry I decided to move away from all the fakers, snakes and megalomaniacs. I got a work from home job with a salary and I relocated to a place where I don't need to travel to be in nature anymore. No sponsors, no problem. The skating has never been better!

How is everything going with your Spanish skatehouse?

Things have changed, loads of interest for this year, we are moving house for terrace, pool, sunset views and bbq life. I like being able to offer this opportunity to people, especially from the UK, to skate until their legs fall off.
